The boiler drum water level is a nonlinear, time-varying, and strongly coupled multivariable system. Based on the mathematical model of the boiler drum water level regulation object, the fuzzy control theory is used to design the boiler water level control system, and the drum water level is controlled by fuzzy control and PID control respectively. The design and simulation analysis of the controller are introduced, and the drum water level control system is verified and simulated using MATLAB software. The comparison results between the fuzzy control method and the traditional method are given, indicating that fuzzy control significantly improves the static and dynamic characteristics of the drum water level control system, thereby achieving the best real-time control of the boiler drum water level.
