Single Channel Optocoupler
DESCRIPTION
The 3N26X family of single channel optocouplers contain an aluminum
gallium arsenide IRLED optically coupled to a silicon planar phototransistor.
The optocoupler is built on a TO-18 / TO-46 header with a metal can welded
on for hermeticity. The collector of the phototransistor is electrically
connected to the case. This optocoupler is capable of transmitting
electrically isolated signals between two galvanic sources. The potential
difference between transmitter and receiver should not exceed the stated
isolation voltage. The internal base connection has been eliminated for
improved noise immunity.
