Shown is a typical tape recorder recording and playback circuit, which uses the integrated circuit TA8-142AP as the core device.
    ①The recording process. During the recording process, the external audio signal is sent to the ⑩ pin and @ pin of the integrated circuit TA8142AP. After being amplified by the two internal
recording equalization amplifiers CH1 and CH2, the @ pin and @ pin are output to the magnetic head respectively.
    ② During the playback process, the audio signal from the magnetic head is sent through the @ pin and ① pin of the integrated circuit TA8142AP. After being amplified by its internal playback equalization
amplifier CH3 and CH4, the audio signal is output from the ⑥ pin and ③ pin respectively.
