increase the conduction angle of the thyristor, increase the output voltage, and enhance the brightness of the light; conversely, when the resistance is increased, the conduction angle of the thyristor decreases and the output voltage decreases, the
light brightness weakens. It can also be used to adjust the heating temperature of electric heaters (such as medium frequency furnaces, etc.).
