SN75490 Thermal Print Head Driver

SN75490 is used to drive many commonly used thermal print heads. It contains 6 AND gate drivers with common strobe pulses. Each driver has a totem pole output, with a calibrated output voltage range of 4.75 to 3.5V. The input is compatible with TTL and 5V CMOS, and the power supply current capacity is 30mA. The absorption current capacity is 50mA, the standard power supply voltage is ±5V, and it has a strobe input. The system using SN75490 to drive the EPN8620 thermal print head is shown in the figure.
