Constant voltage charging circuit
Source: InternetPublisher:jikai233 Updated: 2010/10/07
In this charging method, the current is larger at the beginning of charging and smaller at the end of charging. The charging current will change with the fluctuation of voltage, so the maximum charging current should be set at the highest charging voltage to avoid overcharging of the battery. In addition, In this charging method, the charging voltage will drop after reaching the peak value at the end of charging. The charging current of the battery will become larger, which will cause the battery temperature to rise. As the battery temperature rises, the voltage drops, which will cause heat loss of the battery. It will damage the performance of the battery, so the constant voltage charging method is not recommended.
