The microprocessor power supply circuit composed of a linear voltage regulator is shown in the figure below, which is simply composed of two MAX666. The power supply for CPU and A/D converter is A2, and the power supply for RAM and real-time clock is A1. The output voltage Vo of MAX666 is controlled by VSET (pin 6). If VSET is connected to GND, the output voltage is a fixed 5V. If a resistor is used to divide the voltage of Vo, the divided voltage is added to the VSET terminal, so that the output can be programmed.
