The author uses a satellite receiver to provide signals for two TV sets. One TV is placed in the living room, and the other TV together with the satellite receiver is placed in the bedroom. It is convenient to change channels when watching TV programs in the bedroom, but when watching TV programs in the living room, changing channels is troublesome. You need to hold the remote control, go to the bedroom to change channels, and then return to the living room to watch the program, which is very troublesome. In order to facilitate viewing, the author designed and produced a long-distance infrared remote control device, which has achieved good results after actual use. The principle and production process of this circuit are as follows: The infrared receiving head REM can choose a universal integrated infrared receiving head, the appearance is shown in Figure 1. The infrared remote control signal received by REM is amplified by V1 and V2 and then drives the infrared transmitting tube to work. The part outside the dotted line in Figure 1 is placed in the living room. After the infrared emitting diode is connected to the receiving part with a coaxial cable, it is placed in a suitable hiding place in front of the satellite receiver in the bedroom. With this device, you can conveniently select and watch the TV programs you want to watch in the living room with the remote control.
