The toy car at home is modified so that its forward and backward speed can be controlled by a color TV remote control . The circuit is as shown in the figure. Ports P10 to P17 are connected to luminous tubes for 8-speed speed display; P3.5 and P3.7 control the motor forward and backward. They cannot be low level at the same time, and their output period is a width-modulated square wave of 80ms. The power of the transistor depends on the motor current. The program "+" and "-" keys on the remote control control forward and backward, the volume key is used for acceleration and deceleration, and the power key is used for parking control. The remote control distance is 10 meters and must not be blocked by furniture.

This circuit is also a good power supply polarity conversion circuit, with very small voltage drop loss on the power supply
