The first frequency conversion is realized by NE602, and its circuit structure is shown in Figure a. The function of the first frequency conversion is to convert a high-frequency SSB signal of any frequency into an SSB signal with a fixed frequency of 10.700MHz. By inputting the SSB signal with a fixed frequency of 10.700MHz into the circuit shown in Figure b, the USB component can be taken out. The second frequency conversion is also implemented by NE602. The function of the second frequency conversion is to convert and demodulate the "intermediate frequency signal" into an "audio signal", and use LM386 to amplify the audio and then output it. The circuit structure is shown in Figure c. Putting the three parts of Figure a, b and c together, a double frequency conversion SSB/ CW radio is formed.
