The front stage of this circuit is a common emitter circuit with strong negative feedback, and the rear stage is an emitter follower, so that the input impedance is |Z1|=3.6 megohms and the output resistance is only |Z2|=250 ohms. The operating frequency of the circuit is 20~20000Hz, and the distortion factor is less than 0.5% at an output voltage as low as 2.5V.
