Application of TL494 in DC motor speed control
Source: InternetPublisher:拳制龙 Keywords: DC motor TL494 error amplifier Updated: 2021/10/25
When applied in a brush or brushless DC motor
speed control system (see Figure 10
2), one of the error amplifiers is used to input the speed given voltage signal from pin 2, and
the speed feedback voltage signal is input from pin 1. This amplifier is used as a speed regulator. Use,
introduce resistance and capacitance correction between pins 2-3 . The other error amplifier is used as a current limit protection comparator.
The motor current detection signal is introduced from pin 16, and the specified current limit value signal is input from pin 15. This signal can
be obtained from the internal reference voltage source of pin 14 through a resistor divider to start the motor. , or overload
or fault, the overcurrent is limited within a safe range to protect the motor and power switch
tube. In the chip, the PWM signal is obtained by the speed regulator output control. This signal
is used to control the external power stage circuit to maintain the motor speed at a constant value.
