An induction cooker is an induction electric heating appliance made using the principle of electromagnetic induction heating. It was first developed by the American Westinghouse Electric Company in 1971.
By the 1980s, its technologies had been increasingly improved and it had developed into a mature household appliance product. In recent
years, research institutes and factories in some places in our country have successively developed this new product and put it on the market. Today, this kind of stove has entered thousands
of home kitchens. The induction cooker circuit is shown in Figure 1-z0. The working principle of the electromagnetic cooker is: when an alternating current
passes through the excitation wire , according to the law of electromagnetic induction, an alternating magnetic
field exists around the coil, and the electrical energy is converted into magnetic energy. The strength of this magnetic field is closely related to the size of the current and the number of turns of the coil. The magnetic lines of this alternating magnetic field pass
through the magnetic pot on the induction cooker. Due to electromagnetic induction, an electromotive force is induced in the pot, and induced electricity (ie, eddy current) is generated, which in turn
converts magnetic energy into electrical energy. Due to the impedance of the pot itself, when the induced current passes through the impedance of the pot itself, Joule heat will be generated. Electric energy
is converted into thermal energy + the electromagnetic stove uses this thermal energy to heat and cook food.
