The circuit diagram of the single-phase bridge rectifier circuit introduces the principle of the single-phase bridge rectifier circuit. When u2 is in the positive half-cycle, the current flows through D1, RL, and D3 in sequence. When u2 is in the negative half-cycle, the current flows through D2, RL, and D4 in sequence.
Single-phase bridge rectifier circuit diagram
as follows:
The current path during the positive half cycle of u2 is as shown in the figure below. The current flows through D1, RL, and D3 in sequence.
The current path when u2 is in the negative half cycle is as shown in the figure below. The current flows through D2, RL, and D4 in sequence.
Principle analysis of single-phase bridge rectifier circuit diagram :
When u2>0, D1 and D3 are turned on at the same time. D2 and D4 are turned off. At this time, a half-wave voltage with positive top and negative bottom is obtained on the load resistor RL. When u2<0, D2 and D4 are turned on at the same time, while D1 and D3 are turned off. Similarly, a half-wave voltage with positive top and negative bottom is obtained on the load resistor.
It can be seen that within one cycle, D1, D3 and D2, D4 are turned on alternately, and a rectified voltage with the same direction is obtained on the load resistor RL in the positive and negative half cycles.
