win-current power supply in Figure (c) is obtained by a diode. Their working principles are similar. But the former has better braking effect than the latter . This kind of circuit is often used in situations below 7.5kW with high braking requirements. For motors with larger power, the DC power supply for braking should use a three-phase rectifier circuit.
