The circuit is shown in Figure 3-137. This line eliminates the need for a step-down transformer and uses the principle of capacitor energy storage and discharge to achieve braking.
It can be used for motors with infrequent changes and power below 1kW.
The length of the braking time is determined by the resistance of the relay KA coil, the capacity of the capacitor C and the release current of KA.
Generally, the capacity of the capacitor C can be adjusted to change the length of the braking time.
