On September 12, at the popular STMicroelectronics conference held in Beijing, engineers from Airlabi gave a wonderful presentation to engineers at the conference - "Airlabi: OTA and the key elements of successful practice", which pushed the conference to a climax. At this conference, engineers from Airlabi mainly introduced four aspects: OTA and key elements, device-side OTA capability guarantee, cloud-based OTA management capabilities, and feasibility selection of OTA services. In the introduction of OTA and key elements, engineers from Airlabi gave the key elements of OTA success as shown in the figure below, which simply and clearly showed that the key points of success are mainly related to upgrade capabilities and management systems.

In terms of device-side OTA capability assurance, the first thing to do is to ensure the optimization of the differential algorithm, then the fragmented platform adaptation, followed by stability and success rate, and finally the identity authentication mechanism in the security options to ensure security.

For the car upgrade solution, Airlaby mainly adopts three methods: MCU+module system upgrade, meter upgrade and vehicle upgrade, making car upgrades easier, realizing timely updates of related functions and performance of the car, and further ensuring the safety of the car.

In terms of cloud OTA management capabilities, Airlaby provides the key points of a complete cloud OTA management system and cloud OTA management processes.

Finally, Airlaby's engineers introduced the feasibility of OTA service selection from the perspectives of chip manufacturers, public cloud platforms, customer self-built services, and professional OTA service providers, so that the participating engineers have a comprehensive understanding of how to choose the OTA service that suits them. The application of OTA update technology in automobiles makes car upgrades as simple and convenient as mobile phone upgrades. Here I wish Airabi will do better and better and provide more reliable OTA upgrade technology guarantees for car upgrades.
