How to use a power supply to power devices that require different voltages [Copy link]

Hello, seniors. I am currently planning to make a power module board that needs to output 5v, 6v, 12v and 15v low ripple voltages (the power supply has not yet been determined), and has certain requirements for output current. I would like to ask the seniors for any good design ideas. I checked the information about using a voltage regulator, but I don't know which voltage regulator chip should be suitable.

If they do, it is relatively simple, but if they do not, it is certainly more troublesome. Secondly, you need to determine how much current each set of power supplies needs to output.

For 12V and 15V, you can choose the voltage regulator chips 7812 and 7815. For 5V and 6V, you need to use LM2596 and LM2490. Because the voltage range you need is a little wider, you can first use the rectifier bridge and transformer to process the DC power supply. I have done this myself. The 7812 and 7815 voltage regulator chips are not very good and easily get hot, so it is necessary to add a heat sink. The 12V-6V-5V circuit using LM2596 and LM2940 does not get hot even after working for a long time, and the current also meets the conditions you mentioned.

My board is powered by a DC power supply and does not require a rectifier bridge. The 15v voltage needs to output 1.3A current, the 12v needs to output dozens to 300mA, and the 6V is at most a few hundred milliamperes. 5V is a TTL control level. I would like to ask if the chip you recommend is ok.
