What are the advantages of STM32 instead of TMS320F2812? [Copy link]

I am going to use STM32F769 or STM32F427 to replace TMS32F2812 chip to realize product control and algorithm calculation. The product mainly includes AD acquisition and floating point operation, FFT, filter processing, etc. What are the advantages and disadvantages of STM32F7 replacement? Please help to analyze it.

I think the F7 series is mainly double-precision floating point compared to the F4 series, but the price is much higher and the main frequency is not much higher, which makes me feel a bit disappointed. If conditions permit, you can use the RT1052 series with external flash or wait for ST's upcoming H7 series with external flash. The 600M main frequency or 400M main frequency is still quite cost-effective.  Details Published on 2018-8-17 20:39
