Recently, Freescale Technologies of the United States demonstrated an example of using acceleration sensors to control car taillights. Even if the driver does not step on the brakes, the brake lights will automatically flash in deceleration situations such as shifting gears. The company has produced a prototype taillight system using an evaluation board equipped with a 3-axis acceleration sensor based on MEMS technology. This time, it played a demonstration video of the brake lights lighting up when the motorcycle slows down. The system was developed for the purpose of introduction, and there is no specific plan to launch the product. To put the taillight into practical use, it is necessary to wait for the improvement of relevant laws and regulations and standards. The company said that no car manufacturer will adopt it in the near future. In addition, in the three photos, the red color appears in the upper part of the screen, which is emitted by the red LED on the nearby prototype machine. Trial module
