The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival in my country. Eating zongzi and rowing dragon boats are traditional Chinese culture. Zongzi is a unique traditional festival food in my country. It has a history of thousands of years of production and consumption. my country has many ethnic groups, a vast territory, and different eating habits, so zongzi has also formed local flavor characteristics.
Guangdong Zongzi:
The representative varieties of southern zongzi include fresh meat zongzi and red bean paste zongzi, as well as egg yolk zongzi made with salted egg yolk, and assorted zongzi with diced chicken, diced duck, barbecued pork, egg yolk, mushrooms, mung bean paste, etc. as fillings.
Minnan Zongzi. Xiamen and Quanzhou's roasted pork Zongzi are famous both at home and abroad.
Ningbo Zongzi. Most of the Zongzi in Ningbo, Zhejiang are square, including red bean Zongzi, red date Zongzi and other varieties.
Jiaxing Zongzi. Zhejiang Jiaxing Zongzi has a long history. There are triangular and rectangular varieties, such as fresh meat, red bean paste, and eight treasures.

Sichuan Zongzi. Sichuan people love spicy food, so Zongzi can be divided into sweet and spicy. Sichuan spicy Zongzi has a unique taste because of its exquisite production and complex craftsmanship.
Hainan Zongzi. Different from the Zongzi in the north, it is wrapped in banana leaves into a square cone shape, weighing about half a kilogram. The glutinous rice contains salted egg yolk, barbecued pork, bacon, braised chicken wings, etc.
Beijing Zongzi. The representative variety of northern Zongzi, it is smaller and oblique quadrangular, mostly filled with red dates and bean paste, and a few also use preserved fruits as fillings.
Shandong Zongzi. The Zongzi wrapped in yellow glutinous rice is sticky and glutinous, with red dates sandwiched, and has a unique flavor.
