Power supply monitoring chip [Copy link]

Can you recommend a power monitoring chip for power supply? ADE7858A chip. ADI says this chip is outdated. Which is better, transformer sampling or mutual inductor sampling?

Then you can take a look at the large number of power monitoring instruments (ModBus RTU) on the market. What are they made of? These RTUs include but are not limited to the functions you want to achieve. The existing single-chip integrated SOC chip can often only achieve a small part of the functions of power monitoring and analysis, and is mainly used for energy meter applications. Thank you, this kind of measurement requires a lot of calculations that cannot be done by a simple microcontroller. It requires complex calculations such as phase angle, apparent power, etc.  Details Published on 2018-5-23 09:58

Intersil has a chip ISL28022, which can be configured as an analog-to-digital converter. This American analog chip company seems to have been acquired by Japan's Renesas. You can find it on the official website.

Thank you, the amount of calculation required for this measurement is not something that a simple microcontroller can complete. It requires complex calculations such as phase angle, apparent power, etc.
