The drive motor refers to an electrical device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy to provide driving force for the vehicle. At the same time, the drive motor can also have the function of converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. The drive motor test is an important step to verify whether the drive motor is qualified. Selection of drive motor test instrument The selection of drive motor test instrument directly determines the best measurement results. "GBT 18488.2-2015" has detailed requirements for measuring instruments. The accuracy or error of the instrument should not be lower than the requirements of Table 1 and meet the accuracy requirements of the actual measurement parameters. For the instruments for measuring electrical parameters, they should be able to meet the accuracy and waveform requirements of the corresponding DC parameters and AC parameters. 4] Table 1 Accuracy requirements for drive motor test instruments II. Drive motor test items 01 Cold DC resistance test of drive motor stator winding Measure the cold DC current of the drive motor stator winding in the actual cold state and record the ambient temperature during the measurement. 02 Drive motor stator winding insulation resistance test The drive motor stator winding insulation resistance test includes the drive motor stator winding insulation resistance to the housing, the drive motor stator winding insulation resistance to the temperature sensor and the drive motor controller insulation resistance. 03 Drive motor temperature rise test The drive motor temperature rise test is generally measured by the resistance method, and the temperature rise of the winding is determined according to the increment of the DC resistance of the drive motor winding that changes with the temperature during the test. 04 Measurement of drive motor efficiency The measurement of drive motor efficiency includes three parts: drive motor control efficiency measurement, drive motor efficiency measurement, and drive motor system efficiency measurement. 05 Measurement of drive motor control accuracy The measurement of drive motor control accuracy includes speed control accuracy measurement and torque control accuracy measurement. In addition to the above tests, drive motor tests also include overspeed test, voltage withstand test, environmental adaptability test, etc. In actual tests, test items can be selected according to needs. 3. Precautions for drive motor test 01 Precautions for insulation resistance of drive motor stator winding According to the requirements of GBT 18488.1-2015 for drive motors, the insulation resistance of drive motor stator winding to the housing should be greater than 20MΩ, the cold insulation resistance of drive motor stator winding to the temperature sensor should be greater than 20MΩ, and the insulation resistance of drive motor controller should be no less than 1MΩ. 02 Precautions for power frequency withstand voltage limit of drive motor stator winding The power frequency withstand voltage limit of drive motor winding to the earth's crust must meet the requirements of Table 2.
