"God DIY" an electric screwdriver power supply [Copy link]

A few days ago, I bought 3 second-hand electric screwdrivers on 38hot. The model of the Taiwan Jiyou brand is CY-26D, 100 yuan for 3 pieces. I have always wanted to buy an electric screwdriver, and I bought this one because it seemed quite cheap. I checked some information before buying it, and this electric screwdriver is powered by 30V 1.5A DC. It needs a matching power supply to work. I checked on Taobao, and found that a power supply would cost nearly 200 yuan. I am not sure if it is an original power supply, I definitely cannot afford it at such a high price. At that time, I thought that I had a few idle laptop power supplies. It is about 20V 4A, so getting a step-up module to increase it to 30V 1.5A should be no problem. After receiving the goods, I opened them and found that there were some minor problems in 2 of them. After handling, the problems were solved The other torque adjustment spring was lost The shell was more or less damaged, but it can basically be used Then I copied the circuit and prepared to design the power supply The copied circuit is as follows I guess its power supply should work like this After thinking about it, I found that it can also work like this (direct power supply) So I tried to connect the 20V of the laptop power supply according to the method shown in the figure above Maybe the speed is a bit slow, the force is still quite strong After adjusting the knob to the maximum force, my hand can't hold it at all, and the screws are broken The final finished product

Directly drive the motor, there is no problem with reducing the voltage, and it doesn't even affect the feeling of use.

Yes, the speed and torque will be affected, but it is basically enough for direct drive. There are some minor problems, such as no special functions such as brakes, anti-impact, and torque stop.  Details Published on 2017-11-22 23:37

Those functions are realized by mechanical structure plus electrical switch, and have nothing to do with step-down power supply. Direct drive of the motor means that there is no electronic circuit in the middle, only electrical circuit, then step-down power supply is OK, but the speed and torque of the motor will be slightly reduced. Direct drive of the motor means that there is no electronic circuit in the middle, only an electrical circuit, so step-down power supply is fine, but the speed and torque of the motor will be slightly reduced. If there is an electronic circuit in the middle, then reducing the power supply voltage may affect the circuit function.
