Motorola's i.250-21 wireless transceiver platform offers quad-band configuration for global mobile roaming [Copy link]

Motorola's GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications ) and GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) mobile phone platforms have been enhanced with global quad-band support and additional multimedia and security features. adcode

The i.250 Innovative Convergence platform has been adopted by dozens of major mobile device and design manufacturers. The platform comes from the Semiconductor Products Division (SPS) of Motorola, a leading global embedded systems and radio frequency (RF) supplier. The product is mainly used in a series of voice center, voice and data and data center products, including wireless networks supporting 850 megahertz (MHz) and 900 MHz GSM, 1800 MHz DCS (digital communication service) and 1900 MHz PCS (personal communication service).
The original i.250 platform supports two "dual-band" configurations, but the i.250-21 platform can be used to provide "quad-band" services to enable mobile phones to work on any 2.5G wireless network in North America, Europe and Asia.
Consumers are increasingly demanding text, data, video and audio communications that are not restricted by time and place. The new i.250-21 platform helps meet these needs by integrating the operator's excellent GPRS Class 10 high-speed data throughput and speeding up the upload of digital photos and multimedia messages. In addition, it allows transmission with key encryption technology, so consumers can send confidential data through their mobile phones without worrying about being intercepted by others.
For mobile phone designers, the improved security framework of the i.250 platform can minimize the risk of system software tampering. The platform's chipset includes secure memory, which is used to limit random reading and interference with the operation of confidential code. Advanced security architecture helps protect mobile phone passwords and data from malicious tampering.
