Network hard drive, very "Windows" [Copy link]

I remember a certain brand of beer claimed in its advertisement that its taste was "very German". Today I will borrow this slogan to talk about this very "Windows" network hard disk I just registered. Why do I say that? Because the user interface of this network hard disk is so similar to Windows XP that it is indistinguishable from the real thing! It is difficult to convince people with empty words, so I will give you a "verification" below.

1. Registration and Login

Enter http://www.pc2n.com in the address bar, press Enter to open the homepage of the website, click "Register" in the upper right corner, enter the user name (the website requires registration with an E-mail address) and password, and click "Register" to get a free network hard disk with a capacity of 2GB.

After successful registration, a login window will appear. How about it, do you feel the strong Windows style? Enter the user name and password, and click the white arrow to log in to your network hard disk.

Note: This network hard disk is actually based on Flashplayer8. If the browser's Flash plug-in version is too low or not installed, the login interface will not be displayed. If you encounter this situation, you can go to http://www1.pc2n.com/index/im?ages/Install_Flash_Player_8.5_AX_IE.exe to download the IE plug-in for Flashplayer, and manually install it to solve the problem.

2. First experience of web Windows

After successfully logging in, you will see a network hard disk interface that looks like WindowsXP, as shown in Figure 2. It not only has desktop icons, start menu, taskbar and wallpaper, but also provides practical functions such as clock, weather forecast, calendar, etc. It is really a super alternative network hard disk!

In fact, not only the appearance, but also its operation has many similarities with Windows. For example, you can open the window by double-clicking the icon and minimize it to the taskbar. You can also drag icons, windows, clocks and other objects on the desktop to any location. What's more interesting is that this "WindowsXP" can also change the wallpaper. Right-click anywhere on the "Desktop" and select "Desktop Background". A window as shown in Figure 3 will appear. Click the picture thumbnail or enter the web link of the picture in the input box below to change the wallpaper. There are

also some fun things for everyone to experience slowly, I will not go into details. Next, I will talk about the use of this network hard disk.

3. File operations of network hard disk

The purpose of using network hard disk is nothing more than uploading/downloading files or sharing resources with friends. With the help of "Windows", these operations become extremely simple.

Double-click the "My Computer" icon in the browser to open the window shown in Figure 4. There is an "Upload File" link in the "File and Folder Tasks" pane on the left. Click it and the "File Upload" window will appear. Click "Browse" to select a local file, and then click "Upload" to upload the file. This operation will directly upload the document to the "My Computer" window. If there are many types of documents, it is best to click "New Folder" first to classify and store different files.

If you want to download the uploaded file, just select this file in the "My Computer" window, and the "Download this file" link will appear in the "File and Folder Tasks" pane, as shown in Figure 5. Click it to download.

Maybe you have noticed the "pc2n this file" link in this pane. This strange command is actually very useful because it can help you share resources. Clicking this command will open a new browser window containing a file download link. Send the address in the address bar to your friends. When they open this address, they can download the files you uploaded without knowing your account number and password.

In addition, pc2n also provides some unusual functions. For example, double-clicking "My Music" will bring up an online MP3 player window, as shown in Figure 6. Enter the song name and click "Search" to find the target among the 130,000 MP3s on the server. If you have a camera, you can also double-click "Wonderful Video" and click "Online Shooting" in the pop-up dialog box to use your camera to shoot videos online. If you are a webmaster, you can double-click "Network Navigation" and then click "Register Website" to add your website to the URL list to increase traffic. If you want to know what is happening in the world, you can double-click "News Reading" to view international and domestic news. These additional functions have completely exceeded the scope of network hard disks. It seems that the ambitions of this website are not ordinary lofty!
