--- # Understanding the Quadrature Decoder Counter Card: A Key Tool for Precise Measurement and Control

In modern industrial automation, mechanical manufacturing, robotics and many other fields that require precise position and motion control, the orthogonal decoding counter card plays an indispensable role as an important measurement and control device.

The orthogonal decoding counter card is essentially a hardware device specially used to process orthogonal encoding signals and perform counting and measurement. Orthogonal encoding usually consists of two pulse signals (usually called phase A and phase B) with a phase difference of 90 degrees. By decoding and analyzing the changes of these two signals, the position, speed and direction of movement of the object can be accurately determined.
