Principle of Error Amplifier [Copy link]

Error amplifiers are often used in switching power supplies. What is the circuit diagram of this device? What is its working principle?

The error amplifier is usually a circuit that compares the reference with the output voltage or current and amplifies the comparison (actually subtraction) result.
