Overview:

The YB4068 is a complete constant current/constant voltage linear charger for single-cell Li-ion batteries. Its small package and low external component count make the YB4068 ideal for portable applications. No external sense resistor is required, and due to the internal MOSFET architecture, no blocking diode is required. Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to provide die temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature. The voltage is fixed at 4.2V, and the current can be programmed externally with a single resistor. After reaching the final float voltage, the YB4068 automatically terminates the charge cycle when the current drops to 1/10 of the set value. The YB4068 converter is available in an industry standard SOT-23-6 package.
