Evaluation development board: Xinhai CDS8712 development board

The CDS8712 is a signal conditioner for conditioning applications for industrial and process control. The CDS8712 selects inputs through 12 analog front-end channels, amplifies and digitally adjusts its input signals by up to 1024 times gain. The CDS8712 executes user-defined compensation algorithms through user-programmable software in the on-chip ARM Cortex M0 processor. The conditioned signal can be output in the form of PWM. The device can also access data and configuration registers through UART, IIC and GPIO ports. The
CDS8712 contains an analog multiplexer (MUX), a capacitance detection module (CS, Cap Sensor), a programmable gain amplifier (PGA), a 14-bit SAR ADC, and a temperature sensor (TS, Temperature Sensor). Embedded with 64K bytes of FLASH, including 60K bytes of program space (APROM), configurable data FLASH size (shared with program FLASH), 4K bytes of boot program space (LDROM), 16K bytes of SRAM, and a maximum operating frequency of 24MHz. It includes 1 I2C module, 1 UART module, 3 timer modules, 2 watchdog modules, etc.
In addition, the CDS8712 series is also equipped with ISP (In-System Programming) and ICP (In-Circuit Programming) functions, allowing users to upgrade the firmware without removing the chip from the board.
