The CDS8712 is a signal conditioner for conditioning applications for industrial and process control. The CDS8712 selects inputs through 12 analog front-end channels, amplifies and digitally conditions its input signals by up to 1024 times gain. The CDS8712 executes user-defined compensation algorithms through user-programmable software in the on-chip ARM Cortex M0 processor. The conditioned signal can be output in the form of PWM. The device can also access data and configuration registers through UART, IIC and GPIO ports.
The CDS8712 is also equipped with ISP (In-System Programming) and ICP (In-Circuit Programming) functions, allowing users to upgrade firmware without removing the chip from the board.
