I felt a little excited after reading this chapter. After all, Chinese chips have sprung up like mushrooms after rain.

Here are the notes:

1. Currently, urban development clusters have been formed with the Yangtze River Delta, Bohai Rim, Pearl River Delta, central and western regions as the core.

2. Zhangjiang is not only known as the "Silicon Valley of China", but also as the "Pharmaceutical Valley of China"

3. The Yangtze River Delta region occupies 6 seats in the mainland integrated circuit rankings: Shanghai, Wuxi, Hefei, Nanjing, Suzhou, and Hangzhou

4. The Bohai Rim region is structured with Beijing and Tianjin as the core, and Dalian and Qingdao as the two wings.

5. The semiconductor industry cluster in the Pearl River Delta region is centered on Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Zhuhai, with Foshan, Jiangmen, Zhongshan, Dongguan, Huizhou, Zhaoqing and Shanwei as the focus.

6. Semiconductor industry clusters in the central and western regions with Xi'an, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan and Changsha as the core.

Mobile phone manufacturers’ self-developed chips: Huawei HiSilicon, OPPO Zheku, and Xiaomi Xuanjie.

Internet companies are competing in the "chip" track: Baidu Kunlun, Alibaba Pingtou Ge, and Tencent.

As summarized in this chapter, domestic semiconductors are mainly concentrated in first- and second-tier cities. These cities have high-quality educational resources and strong policy support, which are attractive enough for talents.

It seems that the task of saving China's chips lies in first- and second-tier cities. I am a small fifth-tier city that has just been downgraded, and I can only shout and cheer for the victory.

It's a pity that some Chinese chip design companies have closed down, such as Zheku. This shows that chip research and development still requires patience and carefulness, and cannot achieve results in a short period of time.   Details Published on 2023-6-28 09:26

Wuxi is a small city in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, but it is also a semiconductor highland that cannot be ignored in China.

The electronics industry is concentrated in the eastern coastal areas. We can't count on the northwest.
