First of all, I don’t understand why you didn’t mention the hardware version when you said that the genuine jlink you used does not generate heat. I heard that v10 v11 v12 use the same MCU, and the hardware of different versions is also different. Shouldn’t the comparison of whether it generates heat or not be the hardware of the same solution? Secondly, my D version JLink Plus V11 uses the same solution as the moderator, and there will be heating problems, but the merchant has provided a heat sink, which feels okay. It will indeed be much hotter without the heat sink. As for why it is hot, please go to the NXP official website to have a look at its core structure (M4 plus M0 + dual-core). I personally think that it is normal for the dual-core to release more heat than the single-core. After all, the single-core M4 stm32f4 will also be very hot when I use it as DSP. At the same time, users who buy the D version V11 are advised to pay attention to the fact that the plus I bought cannot update the firmware because the official website does not have the corresponding firmware version. Please be informed.

V9 and v11 are not the same MCU. V9 seems to be stm32 F205. In my imagination, NXP should not heat up.

This may be a bit technically difficult. There is a sealed box inside, and I don’t know what the effect will be.

The merchant agreed to the return, and I returned it today. I can't afford the original one.

I asked the customer service and they said they bought the shipping insurance and returned the product. I'll just buy a V9.

Could you please recommend which version to use? I originally wanted to buy the V11, but the chip got too hot, so I returned it.

I don't have money to buy the genuine product, so today I bought two Jlink9s for 50 yuan including shipping. I don't know if they can be used.
