Single-stage and multi-stage amplification of operational amplifiers [Copy link]

Single-stage and multi-stage amplification of operational amplifiers

For example, if you want to zoom in 20 times, if it is a one-stage zoom, just select the scale factor of 20. But some people use a two-stage zoom, which is to zoom in 2 times first, and then 10 times! What is the difference between a one-stage zoom and a multi-stage zoom when the final magnification is the same?

Of course it depends on the design requirements... The fact that you ask this question shows that you have no idea about op amp circuits and you need to find a book to brush up on it.   Details Published on 2022-6-8 16:06

Possible reasons 1. Signal polarity requirements, two-stage reverse amplifier, and finally positive output 2. Input and output requirements (impedance/drive capability/bandwidth, etc.), requiring a specific op amp combination
