Why is the RAM compiled by IAR larger than the specification? ? It can also run normally [Copy link]

Why can IAR compiled into the R7FC004 chip be larger than the specification (8k) and still compile and run normally?

Could anyone help me answer this question? ? Thank you

Isn't it because IAR compiles Renesas with some wrong settings?

I don't know why, I created an ap4 and recreated an iar project, but none of them can exceed 8k of ram, which is logical, why can some projects exceed it, is there something wrong with the settings? ?  Details Published on 2021-8-30 09:21

If it is Keil, it seems that it cannot be compiled.  Details Published on 2021-8-30 09:44

Yes, that's right, basically it has exceeded the limit, and it will definitely report an error of insufficient space.  Details Published on 2021-8-30 10:04

Check if the variables created by IAR using the heap are also counted in [readwrite].  Details Published on 2021-8-30 13:04
