RL78 RAM question [Copy link]

Please tell me: Note This is about 7 KB when the self-programming function and data flash function are used. What does this mean? 7kB is used out of 8kB? ?

I haven't used this microcontroller either. After a quick look, it seems that you need to write the self-programming library into the microcontroller yourself. You can check whether there is any introduction in the document.   Details Published on 2021-3-11 12:00

This means that when the self-programming function and data flash function are called, about 7kb is spent.

Self-programming requires writing the self-programming library into the MCU's flash in advance. This part of the code should occupy some memory when running.

You can see this document for details.

Will there be insufficient memory when running? I don't quite understand.

Does self-programming mean bootloader?
