[SensorTile.box] Programming mode - Losing to the environment [Copy link]

I came to the company to work overtime today with great interest. I want to get the development environment of this programming model. I had all kinds of problems with it on Mac at home before?

Do I need to install a Java virtual machine to install ST's programming tools? The Java virtual machine is too slow.

That's why I used the company's Windows 10 to prepare for development.

After a lot of research, I found that ST's programming tools are flooding. There are too many of them and I don't know where to start.

But finally I seem to understand:

Editing, compiling and debugging tools: STM32CubeIDE

Download tool: ST-LINK (It seems that this can be done with a USB port? No need to use J-LINK, trouble)

A framework function package is also required: en.FP-SNS-STBOX1_firmware (my understanding is that this provides a bunch of library functions for upper-level applications to use)

The icons for both are as follows:

However, after studying the IDE for a long time, I couldn’t even open a SampleProject successfully. . . . When I opened it, it was garbled?

I'm so good at C++, but I can't find the main entry point for me to express myself. . Alas, embedded environment is always so cumbersome.

On a summer afternoon in the company, there wasn’t even an air conditioner turned on. Today we were defeated by the “environment”!

Withdrawn~

The garbled characters shouldn't be there. I'll go back and try it later.

I just tried it and there is no garbled problem. You can try to open the main.c file with Notepad or other text editing tools, or re-download en.FP-SNS-STBOX1_firmware to see

Solved, develop on Mac. STM32CubeIDE does not require a Java virtual machine.  Details Published on 2020-6-7 19:03
