1. The magnesium rod of the electric water heater should be replaced frequently.
The inner tank of the electric water heater sold below 1,000 yuan is generally made of galvanized iron plate. Although the welds and pipe joints are coated, they are very easy to corrode during long-term heating, causing the water heater to leak and become scrapped. Therefore, the sacrificial anode type cathodic protection is generally used inside the water heater, that is, a magnesium rod is placed in the water heater. Since the potential of magnesium is lower than that of iron, under the action of electrolyte (tap water), the magnesium rod will continuously lose electrons to protect the inner tank. As the use time goes by, the magnesium rod will gradually dissolve and consume. At this time, the magnesium rod should be replaced in time. After the electric water heater has been used for about a year, a thick layer of scale will form around the heating tube, greatly reducing the heating efficiency. Due to the slowdown of heat transfer, the heat of the heating tube cannot be transferred out, causing the heating tube to be in an overheated state, which will endanger its own life. Therefore, it is necessary to descale and replace the magnesium rod in time.
2. Don't panic if there are spots when you turn on the color TV
. In the picture tube of the large-screen color TV, the trajectory of the electron beam is precisely designed. The three electron beams of red, green and blue modulated by the three primary color signals only bombard the corresponding phosphors during the scanning process to obtain a pure primary color grating. However, when the picture tube is working, the trajectory of the electron beam is often disturbed by stray magnetic fields such as the geomagnetic field and peripheral magnetic objects (speakers). At this time, the electron beam cannot guarantee that it will only bombard the corresponding phosphors, so that the scanned primary color grating is mixed with mixed colors and spots appear. Therefore, color TVs are equipped with automatic degaussing circuits to eliminate the residual magnetism of the tempered material in the picture tube. The automatic elimination circuit only works at the moment of power on. Therefore, after turning on the TV, turn the direction of the TV (such as turning from east to west) again. Due to the influence of the geomagnetic field, spots will appear on the corners of the TV screen. If you want to eliminate the spots, turn off the TV for 20 minutes (to allow the degaussing resistor to cool down fully) and then turn it on to make the degaussing circuit work, so as to achieve the purpose of degaussing and removing spots.
3. Why do mobile phones tend to shut down automatically?
Some models of mobile phones will shut down automatically with a slight collision, and sometimes even when worn on the body. This is because the mobile phone is in contact with the battery through several spring clips. Some models of mobile phones have more spring clips, such as Motorola's CD928+, which has five. If the spring clip and the battery are disconnected instantly due to a collision, the mobile phone will automatically shut down due to power failure. If the spring clip and the battery are in poor contact, the battery voltage detected by the mobile phone will be low due to the existence of contact resistance. Even if the battery is fully charged, the mobile phone will automatically shut down after a low voltage alarm. It is also easy to solve this problem. Just remove the battery of the mobile phone and observe whether the contact point of the spring clip is on the same plane. Is there any collapse? If so, use pliers to correct it. Is the contact point of the spring clip oxidized? You can use an eraser to erase the oxide layer, but you cannot use a sharp tool to scrape it, otherwise it will damage the gold-plated layer of the spring clip. 1. When buying audio equipment and selecting an amplifier, how can you choose an amplifier of better quality? Here is a relatively simple method. First, weigh the weight of the amplifier. A heavier amplifier generally has greater power and more materials. After connecting the speaker, you can disconnect the signal source first. At this time, turn the volume knob and there should be no obvious rotation noise in the speaker. When the volume is turned to the maximum, there should be no heavy "humming" AC sound or "squeaking" high-frequency noise in the speaker. This shows that the quality of this amplifier is good. 2. The quartz clock at home will stop or stop from time to time after being used for a long time. If it is not because of insufficient batteries, it is because the quartz clock movement has been used for a long time and the resistance increases after wear. You only need to remove the second hand of the quartz clock and discard it, and the quartz clock can run easily again, and the running sound is much smaller. 3. Solar water heaters are convenient and energy-saving, and are deeply loved by the people. Here is a little trick to use it, so that your water heater is always full of water, and you can also use the hottest hot water in the water heater. Usually, there are two water pipes in the water heater, one water inlet pipe and water outlet pipe, and the other overflow pipe. When the water heater is full of water and continues to add water, the cold water will squeeze out the hottest water in the upper layer of the water heater from the overflow pipe, and you can use hot water from the overflow pipe. In this way, you don’t have to worry about whether you forgot to add water to the water heater. 4. When cleaning the range hood, the oil stains in the impeller of the range hood are the most stubborn and the most difficult to clean. You only need to soak the impeller in hot water for 20 minutes, and it can be easily cleaned.
