TI Cup 2019 National College Student Electronic Design Competition TI Processor Board Application Ten Questions and Answers[Copy link]
The purpose of this processor board application is to provide a free learning opportunity for participating students. Students can choose the corresponding processor board for learning according to their interests and needs. Before applying for a board, you can first view the detailed information of each board, and choose the most suitable board after understanding the functions and characteristics of different boards. I have successfully applied for the processor board I am interested in through official channels. How can I check the review process and shipping information of the board application? The application list of the processor board is uniformly reviewed by the TI Trade Compliance Team. TI will arrange the board shipping according to the actual situation based on the number of processor boards reported by each university and the list of students who have passed the review. The shipping information will be announced in real time on the National College Student Electronic Design Competition Training Network. Students who need to understand the review process and shipping information please keep an eye on it. How do I know if I have passed the review? Where can I pick up the board after passing the review? The public information will announce the names of the schools that have passed the review, the number of boards, the designated contact person, and the list of students who have applied online in each university. TI will send the processor boards to the designated contact person according to the final number within 7 working days after the information is released. The designated contact person of each university will be responsible for the subsequent distribution of the processor boards. Students can contact their instructors or the designated contact person of their school to collect the boards. I don't have an edu email address, so I can only register and apply with my personal email address. Will it affect the result of this application? The edu email address is not a necessary condition for this board application. The review process of the processor board is handled by the TI Trade Compliance Team. Using an edu email address to register may speed up the review, but it does not affect the final result of this board application. Why can't I apply for some boards when applying for processor boards? All devices in this TI processor board application are provided free of charge. Due to the limited types and quantities, the board application will be registered, reviewed and issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Failure to apply means that the board inventory has been fully applied for. The processor board I want to apply for has ended application. What other ways can I get the board? Currently, some universities have submitted processor board application forms, and the list of online applications has entered the review process. TI will send processor boards to universities that have submitted application forms as soon as possible based on the final results. During the review process, boards that fail to pass the review will be returned to the warehouse, and their corresponding processor board applications will be reopened until the application ends on June 7, 2019. Students who have not yet applied for a processor board can pay attention to the board application page of the National College Student Electronic Design Competition Training Network and apply immediately when the application channel is open again. In addition, students can also purchase directly from the TI store. I successfully submitted an application for a processor board online, but why is my name not on the final list of boards released? The final number of processor boards released is determined by the number of applications provided by each university and the number of students registered online. When the number of students registered online exceeds the number of applications provided by the school, the number of applications provided by the school will be used as the final number of boards released. The number of applications will be intercepted in the online application registration list in the order of application time. If the online application is successful but not on the final list, it means that the application time is later than that of other students in the same school, or it has not passed the review. There are 10 participating teams in our school. All 30 team members have successfully submitted online applications. At the same time, the application form submitted by the school also indicates the corresponding number of participating teams and the number of boards applied for. Why is the actual number of boards sent still less than the number reported by the school? Due to the limited number of board applications, in order to ensure fairness, the number of boards each school will eventually send will be based on the number of school applications and the number of students online applications. The number of applications for a single board will also be adjusted according to the actual number of participating teams. I have successfully submitted an online application, why is my school name not included in the public delivery information? This board application will be mailed in two times. If the application has not been sent, it means that the number of online applications of the school has not reached the number of boards submitted by the school. The second batch will be mailed together. The current list of online applications for review is until May 20, 2019. Online applications submitted after this date will also be mailed together in the second batch. Another possibility is that the school did not pass the review. Where can I download the relevant information of the processor board? Will TI organize training for each processor board? Currently, a link to view board-related information can be found on the processor board application page. Click on the link to download technical documents such as data sheets, user guides, and design files for this device.
