Software Download and Installation
The reason for choosing XShell is that XShell has a "Free License" and its functions can be used. Official software download address: https://www.netsarang.com/download/free_license.html 1. Click "Download" of "Xshell 6". 2. After filling in the "Evaluation user / Home & School user" table items with "*", click "Submit". 3. You will receive a link from the software official containing the download address in the filled-in email address. 4. Copy the link address in the email to open it in the browser, and the software will be automatically downloaded. 5. There is nothing special to pay attention to when installing the software. It is written in the manual.
New serial port session example 1. Select "New" from the "File" menu. The "New Session Properties" dialog box will be displayed. 2. Select "SERIAL" from the "Protocol" list. 3. Enter the session name in "Name". 4. Select "SERIAL" from "Category". 5. Select the serial port number connected to the PC from "Port". 6. Select the communication speed in "Baud rate". 7. Select the number of data units to be transmitted in "Data bits". 8. Select the number of bits to indicate the end of the data unit in "Stop bits". 9. File Transfer Using ZMODE to Send Files from Windows PC to Development Board 1. Select the file to be transferred to the development board from Windows File Explorer. 2. Drag the file and drop it on the corresponding development board terminal window in Xshell. 3. The file transfer is automatically executed.

Connecting to a session

Other Notes The transmission speed of ZMODEM under SSH terminal can reach 2MB/sec. The transmission speed of ZMODEM under serial terminal is about 20KB/sec.
