Understanding of open circuit voltage and operating voltage of solar panels [Copy link]

I don't understand the open circuit voltage and working voltage of solar panels. The open circuit voltage of a solar panel is 43V and the working voltage is 36V. Does it mean that the voltage will be 36V as long as a load is connected?

Working voltage 36V-----should refer to the voltage when connected to the rated load. If the load is too heavy, the voltage should continue to drop.

The open circuit voltage refers to the no-load voltage of the photovoltaic panel. It will definitely decrease when a load is added. The amount of decrease depends on the added load. In addition, the MPPT voltage range should also be considered.

Does it mean that the voltage is 36V as long as the load is connected? Of course not. When there is a load, the terminal voltage is lower than when there is no load. The amount of the drop depends on the load.
