I have seen many big factories, such as Jiali Chuang, and they basically charge 100 yuan more for black paint (compared with green paint). I have also asked some small board factories, and their green paint and black paint are basically the same price (if it is expensive, it is only about 20-30). If it is expensive, there must be a reason. What harm does cheap black paint have on PCB boards? Is the adhesion not good enough? Please give me some scientific knowledge! Thank you.

Jiali Chuang usually does small orders for sporadic proofing, right? I think it is because it is not convenient for them to combine orders to save costs if they only do black oil. When it comes to medium and large quantities, we usually go to a specialized PCB manufacturer, and the impact of using black oil on costs will not be too great.

From the material cost of the oil itself, I think there should not be much difference (referring to the same brand grade, different brands sometimes have big differences, such as Japanese ink is more expensive). In addition, as for the performance difference, you can refer to some online reference documents, such as Baidu Wenku search "Characteristics and differences between green oil and blue oil of PCB board". Because green oil is used more, its application technology is naturally more mature and convenient.

If black ink is used in mass production, it will not be much higher. Jiali Chuang probably thinks it is too troublesome to use this for proofing, so they increase the price so much.
