About AltiumDesign Layer Settings [Copy link]

As shown in the picture above, the pink line was originally the Keep-Out Layer. Later, when I imported the CAD file (.dwg) into AD2017, this appeared when I opened the previous project file. It used to show "Keep-Out Layer", but now it shows "All layter", and it can't be changed back to "Keep-Out Layer". Has anyone encountered this situation? If you can help solve the problem, 100 core coins will be given, and 2 core coins will be given as a thank you fee for replying to the post

When I encounter this problem, I just delete it and then redraw the line on the KEEPOUT layer.  Details Published on 2018-10-19 09:39

Didn't you select keep-out-layer when importing?

I didn't notice this. The problem I encountered was that after importing a CAD file once and then opening other project files with AD, this problem occurred.  Details Published on 2018-10-18 15:08

Modify now: Select the imported line, copy and paste it to the Keep-Out Layer or delete it, and re-import the ad17 version. Importing CAD drawings does not distinguish between dwg and dxf.

Well, thank you. My subsequent processing was to delete it directly and regenerate the lines according to the shape of the board.  Details Published on 2018-10-18 15:09

Select the layer when importing, and check whether it is in the layer after importing. If it is not in the layer, re-import it. I often import CAD format files into AD. There are few cases where the layer is wrong.  Details Published on 2018-10-18 15:12

I agree with what the above said. When importing, you should set the imported layer. In addition, it is best to set the layer in CAD. Don't set too many layers, so as not to introduce many layers when importing AD.
