Dear students, in order to have a good learning method, so that you can master the application of PLC in the fastest and shortest time, I have compiled a process and method for learning PLC for beginners, teaching you how to learn PLC. I hope it will be helpful to you. These are some of my learning methods and insights when I was learning, and I would like to share them with you. Of course, this is just my own opinion. If you have any good suggestions, I hope you can actively put them forward to me, and we can discuss learning and progress together. Master the structure of Siemens hardware and the function of each part, and be familiar with the hardware wiring of PLC, for example: the wiring of switch input and output, the wiring of analog input and output. Be familiar with the function selection between different modules, etc. Understand what a Siemens small PLC system includes, and have a familiar grasp and understanding of these. This is very important for the subsequent learning, laying a solid foundation, and has a great effect on our future use and selection of PLC. As long as everyone studies hard and searches for information, they can learn these in a week. The next step is to start learning about bases, and understand the relationship between bases and PLC. What bases are used for PLC, and how different bases are converted. We also need to understand how different bases are represented in PLC. After learning these, we need to understand what soft components are inside PLC and what functions they play in PLC. In other words, we need to understand the types of software and their respective functions. After understanding these, the next step is to understand the addressing method of Siemens PLC, because for Siemens, the main focus is on its addressing method. Only by understanding addressing can we learn about subsequent memory, such as: how bytes, words, double words are addressed, what is the relationship between them, what we specifically want to do through addressing, what are the advantages of addressing, etc. As long as we combine the video on the website with the study of books, I believe we can master these contents within a week. Week 3 Learning Arrangement: In the fourth week we can start learning about timers and counters. In fact, it doesn't take a week to learn these two. As long as you find a way, you can master them in three days. However, this also depends on whether there are students with some electrical basics. But it doesn't matter. In fact, timers and counters are very similar to the working principles of some time relays and counters in our display hardware. Combining them with our traditional relay circuits to learn, I believe you will be able to get started soon. You can practice by writing programs to master the usage of different types of counters and timers. In fact, the most important thing is to master these points. I have summarized them for you: 3. Learning and application of time interval instructions In the fifth week, we officially started learning some functional instructions. However, there is also a process for learning these instructions. It is recommended that you follow the method of learning basic instructions. Don't memorize them by rote. Just learn what you need to use and use them by checking the manual. The most important thing is to practice more. In the fifth week, we will start learning transmission instructions, comparison instructions and data conversion instructions. Learning these three instructions is relatively boring. It is recommended that you follow Mr. Liang's video and do programming while listening. This way, learning is not boring and you can master the usage and function of each instruction. The most important thing is to buy some case books and follow the most classic cases in the books. In the sixth week, we need to learn about some calculations between data. So how do we calculate these data? Now we will formally enter our topic, which is the study of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division instructions, as well as how to use the instructions of AND, OR and XOR. Learning these mainly lays the foundation for the intermediate and advanced contents such as analog quantity and communication that we will learn later. Then there are some shift instructions, table filling and table reading instructions, which are very helpful for some complex switch quantity programming in the future. It is very convenient and fast. You will know it through many programming exercises. The study of the seventh week is divided into three major parts: program control instructions, indirect addressing, and interrupt learning. The specific contents are as follows: Application of indirect addressing In fact, the study of these three parts requires us to learn by referring to the video explanation and book reference. We must master one of their functions and understand what it is used for. Let's have a general understanding of it first, and then slowly digest it in depth in future practical applications. The eighth week's learning content is divided into the application of subroutines, the writing of subroutines with parameters, and the establishment and addition of libraries. After learning these three contents, you must learn the following applications: 2. The basic knowledge of establishing subroutines with parameters and the establishment of programs In the ninth week, we began to study some intermediate and advanced content, including the study of analog quantity. I have summarized the content to be learned for everyone as follows: [p=28, 2, 2. Application of analog conversion library4. Use of PID adjustment panel The contents learned in the tenth and eleventh weeks are as follows: In these two weeks, we started to learn high-speed input and output, which is what we often call positioning. I have summarized it here. I believe you will learn quickly if you follow these steps. 2. Learn the related indicator lights of motion control 5. Learn to use the motion control wizard In the past three weeks, we will start to learn the content of the communication course. You must learn this by combining the textbook materials and video explanations, and use an actual PLC device to communicate with various intelligent devices to see if the control requirements can be met. The key is to practice with actual equipment. You can learn according to the following key points. I believe that as long as you master the following points and combine them with some practical training, you will be able to apply the communication knowledge to your work in the shortest time. The specific contents are as follows: 2. Modbus communication learning 4. Profibus communication learning 6. Application Practice Follow the process of the following weeks to learn. I believe that you can master the application of PLC in less than half a year. Here, I wish you all progress in learning and get a high salary as soon as possible.
