TLP3547 Review [Copy link]

 Previously, in the project test, it was necessary to cut off the power supply at a fixed time to verify the product's 200ms power-off switching capability. At that time, a 2A/DC 30V relay (Omron) was used, using 5V control. However, there was a relatively big problem at that time, which was the impact of electromagnetic compatibility. There is a three-digit digital tube on the board. As long as the power is switched once, the digital tube will flash. The main reason is that the circuit board is manually spliced and soldered, not PCB drawing. On the other hand, it is because of the impact of the electromagnetic relay itself on the MCU. This time, I saw Toshiba's TLP3547 photoelectric relay, which can perfectly replace the relay in the previous application scenario. And it has a long service life and a small size, and can support 5A current passing capacity. It can be compatible and replaced in the test product. The parameters of the relay are shown in the evaluation board data given in the figure below. Summary: This product can perfectly replace the original electromagnetic relay application scenario, and it consumes less power, is smaller in size, and has better EMC performance and no noise. Disadvantage: It would be nice if the AC 220V electromagnetic relay could be replaced.
