Video Character Overlay Device Based on SOPC

With the development of video technology, people have higher requirements for the single form of video image output in the past, hoping to add some supplementary video information while outputting the image. The most direct way is to superimpose concise characters or graphic information on the video signal. This design introduces the design of a video overlay based on SOPC (System On a Programmable Chip) technology, and introduces in detail the working principle and design method of each hardware module in FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and the software processing that needs to be added to SOPC Builder IP core and NiosII soft core processor to generate superimposed information.
