Friends who need 12V centralized power supply on the experimental table, are you troubled by the large ripple of the switching power supply ? Are you troubled by unsightly thread twists?
Try this filtered splitter!
Scenario import
I recently bought an oscilloscope and set it to AC mode to test the 12V centralized power supply system on the desktop. I didn’t know what happened, but I was shocked when I tested it! The switching power supply I used has such a large ripple (at this time, the range is AC20mV_20ms, tested under light load conditions). No wonder the audio decoder, which is powered centrally at the same time, is so susceptible to interference (the output of the electric fan pauses slightly when shifting gears). This terminal is dark and unsightly. What should I do to reduce the choppy power ripple?
So I gathered all the high-quality capacitors I had on hand, and asked for a few thick terminal blocks and a 10A large inductor from Lichuang Mall. With the help of Jialichuang's "magic" that can turn drawings into real objects, I created such a A magical thing, the effect is immediate after installation. At this time, the measuring range is AC10mV_500ms, and the heavier load test
circuit analysis:
1. Use typical CLC filtering;
2. Includes capacitors of various capacities and types (the remaining WIMA capacitors from the audio circuit are all added), which can absorb more interference;
3. Super thick power cord, theoretically the wiring can be stable at 5A and still be cold, and stable at about 8A without obvious temperature rise.
Production comments:
Although the circuit is extremely simple, simple enough to build a shed, it is also good to make it into a circuit board and choose your favorite color for proofing. It is neat and not prone to short circuits. After filtering, I personally think that the audio decoder works better. Although there is no obvious improvement, it is still worth it. In addition, audio equipment powered by switching power supply, as long as the filtering is in place, is not as bad as some "old fans" describe. Whether it is a linear power supply (post-rectification of industrial frequency transformer output + high-capacity capacitor filtering) or switching power supply, each has its own differences. The advantages and disadvantages of the power supply are also destined to be without yyds power supply. It is more like nonsense to say that "switching power supply has poor sound quality" or "linear power supply has good sound quality"!
Physical display:
The schematic has been edited. If it is not displayed, it is a bug.
Attached is an effect video, and the music "Extraterrestrial Object" was randomly played for testing (the decoder is ES9038Q2M+Combo384+OPA627, and the audio cable is a DIY copper silver-plated audio cable, but the video recording has losses, so it must not be as realistic as listening to it on site) )
