Overview

This project is strictly implemented in accordance with the CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0 (Creative Commons-Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike) open source agreement. Research for the purpose of commercial profit is prohibited, and reselling for a fee is prohibited.

Function:

  1. Using Atmel Mega328P chip as the main control, based on MLX90614, with 3-digit 0.28-inch common anode digital tube display
  2. Powered by 18650 battery and boosted by IP5306 (since MLX90614 has 3V3 and 5V power supplies, please choose the corresponding LDO chip and buzzer)
  3. After 3 measurements, take the average to reduce errors.
  4. One-click measurement, response time is about 300ms
  5. Temperature compensation function: data is stored in EEPROM and saved when power off
  6. 3-segment temperature zone alarm function: divided into green, blue and red zones, no alarm will occur if the value is lower than the green zone setting, 5 beeps will be heard if the red zone set value is between the green zone, and 10 beeps will be heard if the value is higher than the red zone set value.
  7. Buzzer switch: you can set whether to sound or not

advantage:

  1. Contact-free measurement to avoid cross-infection
  2. The weight is super small, only 19.8g (without battery), very portable
  3. Measure quickly and accurately
  4. Three-color display of green, blue and red to quickly determine the status of the object under test

Note: This device has not been certified by a professional organization, and the measurement value may be interfered by environmental factors, etc. It is only used for rapid body temperature screening. Please refer to the mercury thermometer for actual body temperature.

Firmware burning method:

  1. Correctly connect the USBASP writer to each pin of the PCB

  3. After selecting, press "2"
  4. Press "3" to enter the fuse setting

  2. Set the corresponding fuse bit in the red box

  3. Click "2", the firmware will be uploaded automatically and the device can be used normally.
