Features

Only requires 2 wires to drive, simple interface
Eight-level digital tube display brightness adjustment
A single TM1640 can drive up to 16-bit common cathode digital tubes or 128 LEDs
Current sinking into grid pin: maximum 200mA, typical value 140mA
Current drawn by seg pin: 50mA maximum, 25mA typical
Serial clock line CLK maximum clock frequency: 1MHz (50% duty cycle)

VCC: The module power supply is positive, 3.3V or 5V is recommended
CLK: Communication synchronization clock signal input pin
DIN: Communication serial data input pin
GND: module power ground
