Parameters of terminal blocks [Copy link]

As shown in the figure below, the terminal block is a double-layer pluggable terminal block

What does the number of positions in the red box in the picture mean?

It looks like there are 20 interfaces in the actual picture.

Is it symmetrical? It's a set. It looks like a jumper cap.

Many retailers are lazy and do not provide real photos for every product. In particular, for connectors with various numbers of terminals, they often only display photos of one type in the series. Purchasers must mainly look at the list and supplement with photos, and they may accidentally misunderstand and make mistakes.

This part number corresponds to a 6-digit version, and the screenshot also says, "the figure shows a 5-pos.version with 10 contacts." So the figure in the screenshot shows a 5-pos.version with 10 contacts.  Details Published on 2019-6-5 10:04

Below the picture in the manual is "the figure shows a 5-pos.version with 10 contacts". Is there a difference between the number of positions and the position? Is the manufacturer's description wrong?  Details Published on 2019-6-5 11:09

As mentioned above, manufacturers will not take a picture for each model. Generally, they will take one picture to represent a series. Therefore, it is explained when adding pictures that the picture is based on 5 positions (5-pos.) for reference. Position refers to the number of positions, that is, the number of holes in a row when viewed horizontally.  Details Published on 2019-6-5 13:03

OK, thank you. I usually use more and buy less. I didn't notice that the merchant was tossing the company's buyers like this.  Details Published on 2019-6-5 14:51
